Ibis Styles Kingsgate Hotel Melbourne

The hotel is located in a very convenient area, near Southern Cross Station and close to two tram stops within the Free Tram Zone. The staff at the hotel were friendly and provided excellent service, making sure all my needs were taken care of. The basic amenities in the room were nice and well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable stay. The breakfast included in the stay was a great addition, providing a good start to the day.

The only minor downside was that there could have been more space to place personal items in the room.

This budget hotel has a fantastic location, perfect for those taking early flights out on a Sunday morning with its proximity to the skybus. It is also convenient to everything, easily connecting to Queen Viv Markets on the tram. The room is basic but clean and the bathroom is well-maintained. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The lounge area is comfortable and the gym offers a reasonable variety of equipment.

There were some noise issues, particularly with the sound of the lift and occasional building work starting early in the morning.

The staff were friendly, great to check in an hour early upon request and even personally checking on our WiFi issue. Transportation was easy as we were just a short walk away from the Southern Cross Station and could easily access free tram zones to explore this city. The location was perfect for us, as we were here for two concerts at the nearby Marvel Stadium. the hotel facilities were great and our room was clean and well-maintained. We also enjoyed the value of the delicious continental breakfast for only $15.

Convenient location near transportation hub. Refundable security deposit required. Good room amenities, including fridge and desk. Free Wi-Fi and informative brochure section available. Pleasant experience overall.

The location was perfect for us, close to the skybus for early flight out on Sunday morning. The free tram stops are so conveniently located and easy to access. Having a hotel with a reception was a definite advantage, able to offer directions. Nice, neat, clean rooms. Cleaning was every day. Continental breakfast was tasty and various. The beds were very soft. Staff on reception were great. There are 9 steps up to the Reception from the street but the receptionist came and helped us with bags which was lovely as we both had restrictions with our legs. The location was superb. Everyday I can walk to many interesting places in the city. It also near the free tram zone. The staff were friendly and helpful. The WiFi and facilities such as YouTube and Netflix feel like home.

We had a great location at Ibis Styles, just a short walk from Southern Cross. Our room was spacious with a double shower and comfortable seating. Although a little noisy outside, our room was quiet and clean.
